We’ve received insightful questions and observations that not only help us refine our designs but also ensure our platform meets your expectations. Here’s a summary of your inquiries and our responses:
Design and User Experience
- Alt-Text on Hover: Many of you asked if hovering over the turbo-NFTrees would provide Alt-Text information. We’re pleased to confirm that this feature will be implemented, enhancing accessibility and providing crucial information at a glance.
- COT Earnings Visibility: The lack of information on the amount of COT earned with each turbo-NFTree and the CO2 capture rate of existing NFTrees was a concern. We’re working on integrating visible metrics and links to detailed information, ensuring you can make informed decisions based on the CO2 capture ability and potential COT earnings.
- Fate of Old NFTrees Post-Swap: Questions about whether old NFTrees would be burned or marked as swapped raised important points about digital asset management. We’ve decided that old NFTrees will be marked as swapped, preserving their artwork and sentimental value while preventing further transactions.
- Terms and Conditions Accessibility: The feedback on linking to Terms and Conditions was well-received. We’re committed to ensuring these documents are not only accessible but also concise and clear, mirroring our design philosophy.
Swapping Mechanics and Options
- Clarification on Swapping Mechanics: The query about the swapping process, whether it involves merging similar or different species of trees, and the possibility of retaining old NFTrees as V1 for non-COT generating purposes, has led to further discussions. We’re exploring options to allow for greater flexibility in how you manage and swap your NFTrees, including preserving V1 NFTrees for their aesthetic value and potential other uses.
- Detailed Information on Turbo NFTrees: The request for more detailed information on each Turbo NFTree variant, including their CO2 offset and other attributes, is well-taken. We’re enhancing our platform to provide comprehensive details, enabling you to make informed decisions based on your environmental impact goals and aesthetic preferences.
- Equity in the Swapping Process: Upon reviewing feedback regarding the swapping process, we’ve determined that we will prioritize the “quantity” of NFTrees over their CO2 offset. While we understand this may not meet everyone’s expectations and could cause some dissatisfaction, this decision has been made to simplify the process for the community’s benefit. We appreciate your understanding and remain dedicated to finding other ways to honor your contributions to sustainability.
- Rethinking Tier Ranges: The observation about the broad range for Turbo Sequoia exchanges sparked a reevaluation of our tier system. We’re refining our approach to provide clearer guidelines on turbo NFTree “costs,” ensuring a straightforward and transparent process.
